Biketober is a community-created bike festival presented by Bike Auckland.

Looking for the perfect excuse to dust off your bike and create some springtime fun with friends and family? Join our annual festival of bicycle fun, brightening up neighbourhoods all over Tāmaki Makaurau, all October long. With activities for all ages, abilities, and bike styles, let’s celebrate the joys of cycling together!

Biketober also takes place in other parts of Aotearoa New Zealand. Find out what’s happening in Hamilton, Christchurch, and Otago.

Biketober activities are community-led and self-run, leaving unlimited capacity for maximum creativity. Help us compile a full calendar of joyous community-led bike fun from 1-31 October! Rides, tours, workshops, get-togethers – whether big or small, if your event involves people on bikes we’d love to hear from you.
